I'm assuming that the thread in which RCA was talking about dysautonmia has been removed? Am I just missing it? It is too bad because there was a lot of good info in that thread and I didn't print it out soon enough. I think the best way for us to stay healthy is to stay informed and to go to the doctor armed with the best knowledge out there. It was a well read thread and full of great information to take to a doctor if it is something that was suspected.

Actually if you look on the next page, on 5/22 "Adrenal Fatigue??" posted by Dragan TU84, there's a lot of info.
And on 5/07 "interesting diagnosis" posted by cal7902.
Hope that helps.
BTW: I just sent your email.
Take care
Thanks!!
You can feel free to view my thread. It is titled "Adrenal Fatigue," and it is where I have finally come to the realization that the cause of all of my problems are caused by Dysautonomia. I am going to see a doc. here in MD, located in Columbia. He sounds really good, and has even written several articles, one in particular on Panic Disorder and its connection with the Autonomic Nervous System/Autonomic Dysfunction, or Dysautonomia. I am still trying to find a copy of the article. I would love to find it. He has also made appearances in some other states about Autonomic Dysfuncion and about the Autonomic Nervous Sys. in particular, I believe.
Dysautonomia is not well accredited, yet many people suffer from it, and it is a shame it is not more well-known and properly diagnosed. People go on for years never fully knowing what they have, and just going with what the doctors told them, whether it be "Panic Disorder," "Anxiety Disorder," "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome," "Syncope" and the other misdiagnoses many sufferers go through...

That is great news! Please let me know how it goes!

From your profile, it sure sounds to me like you simply have panic disorder - a very common accompaniment to MVP. Why do you think there is a dysautonomia component to this? If I were you (actually, I am... same symproms, etc), I would prefer a diagnosis of panic disorder because it's easy to treat. Dysautonomia is not easy to treat at all because it can affect many many parts of the ANS.
I predict you have already had your appointment with your specialist and he has told you that your best course of action is counseling to help cope and to see psychiatrist (even your family doctor can do this) to prescribe anxiolitics (xanax, klonopin, wellbutrin, paxil, etc). These meds, along with a competent course of counseling can have you back to normal in a short time.
Please let us know what the doctor said...
