Wait, I just found something else it could be... fibroidsFibroid tumors Uterine fibroids. My mom had these and had to have a hysterecotomy at around the age of 40. My symptoms match these too.Wow I think I need to get away from this computer!!!
iii) Based on your doctors findings, and your symptoms, it DOES sound like you have endomentriosis. Your doctor has YEARS of training and would have identified anything "serious" at your appointment. I would trust your doctors advise on this one and go to your scheduled follow-up appoint at the end of July. However, if you cant put your mind at ease by all means make an earlier appointment.

i) cancer would likely present itself on the ultrasound and you would experience other symptoms which would NOT be cycle related (pain, bleeding, would occur throughout the month). Q: Did you have a PAP smear at your appointment?
ii) 30% of fibroids (benign growths of muscle on the uterus wall) can actually be felt during a pelvic exam and those that can't, but are large enough to cause physical problems, can be seen with an ultrasound. It seems pretty unlikely that fibroids are causing your symptoms. BTW, 75% of women have fibroids but they are small enough that they dont cause any symptoms!

Going through fibroids myself these days...i was put on the pill in hopes to shrink them or to stop their growth...however, I don't get my period AT ALL on the pill and was very regular without them...now on a different pill to hopefully get my period this month...wish me luck...believe me, after 3 sonograms in the last year, I still am terrified of ovarian and uterine cancer....it is the nature of our anxiety...DON'T YA' HATE IT??? now my doctor did a blood screening on me where my LDH level was extremely high...of course I went to the internet and now think I have muscle disfunctioning in my body...have to get the blood repeated and am terrified to do so....SO I AM HERE WITH YOU!!! we are fine...we are fine....we are fine.....and here is a big SMACK for you!!! Please send one back to me!!!!
