by dafna, Jun 06, 2007 12:00AM
I am taking effexor  for the last 6 months.  I am 55 years old.
I forget names, things I just did, things I did a long time a go.
I want to know if anyone else is having the same problem with effexor or any other antidepresson. i feel all this happened after I start taking this pill. Thank you in advance.

I took Effexor for a few months and it really helped me.  I didn't have any side effects.  I am sorry I can't help answer your question maybe someone will answer your question.  Take care.....

Oh, y es, effexor was not good for me AT ALL! I totally lost my marbles along with my memory; it may help some, but I can certainly say it increased my anxiety/depression 20,000-fold!  You have to search for the right balance in a med - zoloft works great for me. All the meds say that if you experience any of your symptoms to notify your doc as it may not be the right med for you.  Best of luck...........
