Support group in Southern California

anyone know of any anxiety support groups in the area or anyone interested in participating in one? I would love to get together once in awhile with people who understand these things. If I get some responses than I would be more than happy to organize something. Let me know if you're interested.

i live in so cal. i was looking for a support group as well. but i kinda like these online support forums. its anonymous and you can talk to people all over the world. anyway, what did you have in mind?

Im not altogether sure, maybe just someone to talk to over the phone every once in awhile. If I talk to my regular friends and family, they usually will seem concerned but completely oblivious to what I am talking about. I agree with you on this blog, but it might be cool to actually meet or talk personally just to vent sometimes. I completely understand the anonymous thing but it might be helpful to know someone in the same situation who has been through the same thing.

well, i suffer from hypochondria, ocd and i guess generalized anxiety disorder. what do you suffer from?

i know what you mean about friends and family being oblivious.
