tightness in my abdomen and side

by Brandon K, Jun 08, 2007 12:00AM
Hey guys,
I just had a real quick question.  For the past few days I've had this tightness in my side a few inches above my waist and a little bit under my ribcage.  It sometimes is in the bottom of my abdomen as well to the right of my belly button.  It feels like a softball or a rock is sitting in there and it is uncomfortable.  Since I always worry that something is wrong with my heart I attribute it to that.  I was just wondering what could be the cause o this an if this could be a symptom of anxiety or if it could be something else.  Any feedback helps as I have no idea.  Thank you.

all your body organs are exactly in that area you've described.

I think the best thing to do is to get a dr opinion. I know this is not much help but that area's pain could include reasons for your pain & a dr will be able to check you & diagnose you.

cheers,
