I'm still getting rushes before I go to sleep!!!

by meg1005, Jun 16, 2007 12:00AM
So this is the 3rd time I've written on this board in the past 3 weeks. For those who don't know I'm a 21 f who has been experiencing strange rushes(feels like an adrenaline rush almost)when I'm trying to go to sleep. I was also experiencing loss of appetite, minor headaches/pain for over a week and slight twitching. This all started after a weekend of drinking about 3 weeks ago when I was very dehydrated the next day and was out on the beach.

I went to the doctor and they checked my heart and did blood work and everything was fine. My appetite started to come back and the twitches started to go away as well as the rushes at night. My head was the only symptom left. I wrote on here because I thought I had a brain tumor and came to the realization that I was probably just stressed out. After that I felt great! So headaches or twitches or anything..I FINALLY felt better.(till last night)

I had been twitch free for about 5 days until yeasterday. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with this but I really didnt drink much of anything all day. I had half of a water and half a slurpee. I dont know if this could have caused my rushes to come back. I don't drink any caffeine so I know that couldn't cause them. Could i still be stressed or could it be something serious?!

Hi.  I get headaches from dehydration.  I need to start every morning with a big glass of water.  And nothing else works for me - not juice or anything.  So, are you getting enough water?  I get twitching and headaches (and loads of other strange stuff) which seem to be from anxiety, but if you have concerns about your health you should mention them to your doctor.  If the symptoms are bothering you, seeing your doctor and having them tell you that everything is fine may be what you'll need to relax anyhow.
