Allergies and Epstein Barr Virus

by Michael5, Jun 02, 2007 12:00AM
I am a white male, 50 yrs old and was in relatively good health until Dec 2004 when I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr Virus infection.  Since that time I have been very sick and am still functioning at about 60-70% of my norm.  Prior to getting sick I had very minor allergies.  Now it seems I am allergic to everything.  My question is:  Is it common to develop severe allergies with chronic epstein barr virus infection?

Thank you
