.My husband has been complaining of having some left lower jaw pain, esp when he touches it or when he tucks his neck in. I worry that it could be in his lymph nodes, and cancerous. He dips snuff and has for over 10 years. He went to the emergency room and had a x-ray done on his jaw, they couldn't find anything, but put him on pain medicine and piroxicam for the inflammation. What should he do next to find out what is wrong and how to treat the pain in his lower jaw? Thank you for your time. A concerned and caring wife.

sarahon3Dear sarahon3: This is a breast cancer forum. Your husband should be seen by an ears, nose throat specialist.
