This is a general question.
I am 70 yrs. old, and my breasts are definitely dropped or sagged.
A small area around my left nipple and one milk duct have been sensitive (sore) to the touch, especially when my clothing touch that area.
I went to my gyno. He gave me a good examination. There are no lumps. My recent mamogram was Aug. of this year. He felt the pores in that area were clogged due to irritants (lotions or soap). He prescribed hydrocortisone cream. After 2 wks. it did not subside. I called him back, and he recommended I get a second opinion from a Breast surgeon.
I saw the breast surgeon, and he told me that my breasts were made up of many ligaments. As the breasts suspend and stretch these ligaments, sometimes a small one make break near a nerve ending and cause this pain. It is self-healing; however, caster oil packs will make it feel better. He recommended I wear a good support bra. He said it takes awhile to heal, about 2 months.
I can't find any information about this. Can you enlighten me in any way?
