breast burning and pain while laying down at bedtime

by grandmax2, Feb 24, 2006 12:00AM
I'm 49 years old. Had  complete surgical hysterectomy in 1992.

I havent used horomone replacement therapy until recently. My Dr. give me and ointment to use. I used it for the week every day, and use it 1 time a week now.

My question is..... What could be causing me to have burning and aching in my breasts around the outside of them radiating all the way around and towards my arm pit ??

Don't know if their is any history of breast cancer in my family or not. Mother is deceased. So I have know way of knowing.

Would appreciate any kind of response.

Thank You !

Dear grandmax2:  Sometimes hormone therapy can make breasts swollen and tender.  However, it is not possible for us to know if this is the case for you.  Our recommendation is to let your doctor know about this pain and have him/her follow up with appropriate recommendations.
