| CCF-RN,MSN-RF 10/30/2001 | ChristineCMD | Dear ChristineCMD: I have spoken with our genetic counselors. Indeed the BRCA-1 and BRCA-2 are autosomal dominant genes. However, they are not x-linked. Whether or not a person develops breast cancer is more related to gender, female that is. Although, males with the BRCA-2 gene have a 10-20% chance of developing breast cancer. | [Thread closed to new comments] |
