Landau Kleffner Syndrome

by mickb, Jun 07, 2007 12:00AM
My granddaughter has a problem with her speech and was tested for Autism. They said she possibly has rare condition called Landau Kleffner Syndrome. She needs to have an EEG done to confirm this. Is there any information available to help me understand what this is and what can be done?

Yes, the following is a reliable source of information from the National Institutes of Health. If you follow the links for additional information (either via surface mail or e-mail), you can obtain a wealth of data.
