Large varicose veins

by hanaguchi, Mar 02, 2007 12:00AM
I have rather large varicose veins on my inner thigh. Do varicose veins cause any pain or medical complications over time.
Also what are the options for removing them?
Thank you.

Varicose veins do cause pain for some people.  Removal can be done by surgically removing the vein, but the latest technique can be performed via tiny incisions and lasers.  This is usually performed by vascular and general surgeons and not plastic surgeons.  Speak with a local general surgeon in your area.
