3 weeks post op TT

i have a question for my mother. she just had a TT july 13,2007 she constantly feels bloated. Her incision is reddened but no oozing.right after surgery some parts of incision were reddened so they thought it was a reaction to the steri strips or they thought it could be from tension on the incision line.this red area is about 2 inches wide and about 1 1/2 inches in length and in a different spot. it hasn't got any worse in the last few days. no temp. last night she started with severe diarrhea that is still going on. she said she is in the bathroom every 10 minutes. do you think this could be related to the surgery? she had all drains removed within 10 days post op. she doesn't fully stand up straight but moves around pretty well. I know this can just be a virus or something but I was just wondering if this could be from the surgey.

It is virtually impossible to evaluate your mother's condition baed on your description.  Her surgeon is the best one to determine whether her symptoms are related or not to the surgery and their treatment.  This list of potential explanations is large and can best be diagnosed by examining her.
