chipped tooth repaired, still pain

I had a tiny chip in the bottom front tooth repaired today with resin. My question is about pain. Should it be hurting worse now? The dentist had his hygienist do the repair so not sure she did it correctly. He didn't check her work before I left.

It does not sound like this tooth should be hurting at all. Have your dentist check the hygienist's work.

as far as i know hygienists in ANY state are not allowed to do dentistry. it is impossible to tell without seeing you what is wrong.
