Bone Infection Problem

by LATTA, Sep 28, 2007 12:00AM
Hi,

I am really concerned about my tooth. I have been on antibiotics and vicdin for three weeks. It started off as an infected nerve, on this pass Monday the dentist I went to finally got a chance to go in and start the root canal. Three days later I started filling numb, so I went back in to the dentist. He said I has a bone infection.

I wanted to know if this is normal. I was thinking if he was able to start doing the root canal the nerve infection have to be done but now I have a bone infection. I need some advise. thanks

The bone infection as I can understand without seeing you is related to the infected nerve in your tooth. The root canal therapy if successful will resolve that infection.
