Discomfort/pain from crowns and root canal

Recently visited a dentist C and full mouth x-rays show crown problems with #s 5, 29 and 30. Dentist A did root canal on #5 and all of the crowns in 2003 and 2004. X-rays show all of crowns have open margins and are not seated correctly. And crown #30 has metal showing on inner side of crown. Also #5 root canal
not complete. Made appointment with dentist A office for check but WILL NOT allow further work. Paid $1637 to dentist A. How does this work regarding payment to me. Dentist A should merely refund money or pay for repairs (new crowns, build up, pins $3000 per dentist C)??
Dentist B did root canal on #30 in Sept 2001 and current x-rays show incomplete or canal/chamber has space instead of straight line. Paid dentist B $1100. Have appointment with dentist B, also. Of course, will not allow dentist B to do further work. Is this mere refund or costs to repair root canal??

I would suggest you call your local dental society and ask these questions of them.
