Headache and Dry eye after wisdom teeth removal

by Patrick001, Feb 13, 2006 12:00AM
I had two of my wisdom teeth on the left side removed one week ago. There was a low grade fever from the second day after the surgery but had already gone. However, I have a middle level of pain in my left temple and also have a dry left eye in the past three days. I didn't have such symptoms  before the surgery. Are those normal after wisdom removal? Thanks!

I have never see a dry eye  associated with any extraction. The pain in the temple maybe related to the extractions but that too may not be the case. I would give it a few more days and if it doesn't get better either see your MD or a follow up to the dentist.
