Apply Filling OR Extract the teeth

My Tooth (UpperJaw/RigthSide/No-1)has cavity which giving paining since 2 weeks,My Dentist says it requires filling ,if it is deep then Root canal is the alternate,

For a second opnion I visited another Doctor who says this tooth is shaky and needs Extraction and there is No need for Root Canal/Cavity,

I can feel the shaky sense when I hold it and swing it,

ofcourse it is NOT too shaky,

Can I know which is the Right solution (Apply Filling OR Extract the Tooth)

Please Advice

If this tooth is a wisdom tooth then I would not consider doing the rct unless it is a critical tooth and has sufficient bone support. If it is not important then I might consider filling it, if that doesn't work then extraction is a very viable option.

You Right it is Not Wisdom teeth,Infact there is very tiny wisdom teeth before it,

Wisdom is strong,the teeth that is supposed to do cavity/rct is shaky(loose),

Is it OK if both are Removed.

there are so many factors that need to be looked upon by your dds. you need to have your periodontal status checked, you need to see if the tooth in front of the "shaky" tooth is being effected as well. you can consider removal and an implant. know that when you have a tooth extracted, the opposing tooth will "grow" into that area so it can be important to fill in that space. good luck!

Tooth infront of shaky tooth is perfect,

only wisdom tooth (No 1) & molar tooth (No 2) are shaky,

so if these two are extracted do you think the bottom opposing teeth(No 31 & 32 )will be Grow/affected for a 40 Years old guy.

First i would like to suggest the need to be sure your teeth are not periodontally infected. There are few things that makes a tooth shaky. One is periodontal disease, and the other an infection from decay that has gone through the root and affected the tooth that way. Or it could be a combination of both. So it is important to be clear on what it causeing the shaky teeth, because the treatment can vary. If you choose to remove the teeth, it is important to replace them, even at 40. The opposing teeth will hypererupt (begin to move up)through the years, it's gradual, but will occur all the same. Good Luck.
