weird skin irritation on penis
my girlfriend and I have been going out for a number of years now and we were both virgins, so the risk on STD is slim...
I noticed a dry spot on the top of my penis.. just below mid-shaft.. closer to the base.. it was small (white, looked like a small flake of dry skin) and would come and go over.. this was over a period of maybe 4-8 months.
Within the last week, it almost appears to look torn now.. like a 1cm lesion, red (irritated), no puss or signs of infection. creams such as Vaseline and vitamin e cream, do not make it subside.
I want to go visit my family doctor, but feel nervous... Anyone know how serious this may be. or if it could go away on its own? I am afraid I will be left with a scar once it does heal...
