changing brown spots
My mom has flat brown spots that change into abrasions. They start out red, then brown, then abrasion looking, and then they heal. Any ideas? Any such thing as rebelling age spots?

If the brown spots turn into "abrasions," it means your Mom is scratching them. Perhaps they were just rubbed spots to start with. If not, then if they bug her enough to mess with them, she should see a skin doctor about bleaching them or lasering them off. Either is easy to do.
