Hi- First of all Im unsure if I even have rosacea as I was originally going to ask you about skin break-outs! I would not consider myself as having acne as such but am very prone to skin break outs..small, generally whitehead spots. I was wondering is there either an over the counter fast acting (miraculous!) creme/gel that you know is being sold in Europe (as opposed to US brand names)
In addition then I would also wonder if you know of a cure for skin flushes. Iam a 28 year old woman, health, no medications, but my face and neck go crazy red with certain triggers - wine, coffee, alcohol, stress...is there a cooling cream in existance as the problem is heat and being way too hot. I went to a dermatologist who told me basically I would have to live with it and there was no cure (v.helpful Im sure)

Rosacea brekouts are red and pimply, mainly on the nose and middle third of the face. Whiteheads are more likely to be part of acne, postadoloescent or otherwise. Over-the-counter medication which might be helpful generall contain any of the following ingredients: benzoyl peroxide, sulfacetamide, resorcinol, or salicylic acid.
Flushing is indeed embarrassing, but there's not much to be done about it, other than avoiding known triggers at socially crucial times, or wearing clothes to cover the flush when feasible.
