Medicine interaction?
If I am taking another prescription medicine for a skin ailment, will that change the effectiveness of Lamisil AT?
I have these red spots looks almost like burns on my penis and foreskin is red and inflamed looking and scrotum is red. My urologist prescribed Ketoconazole and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream and the condition actually seems worse. He told me to stop the K and continue the TC Cream. Could these two be interacting with each other adversely. I think he is treating it as a fungus infection or just irritation.

I can't think of how, unless you're putting a steroid cream on the same skin that you're trying to get rid of a fungus from using the Lamisil. That might counteract the Lamisil's effectiveness. Otherwise, I can't think of an interaction, with either a cream or a pill.
