Exercise and myopic degeneration

by rotoplooker, Oct 08, 2006 12:00AM
Do you think that an activity such as weight training would be risky for me with myopic degeneration?

I was wondering if the stretching from lifting barbells and dumbells might put some kind of additional strain on my retinas.  Even in a 30 minute weight workout every other day?

I was told to avoid contact sports and that sounds sensible to me.

thanking you kindly
