Flickering in both visual fields after laser treatment for MD - one eye

by drdan3, Jun 17, 2005 12:00AM
Had phgotodynamic therapy  (Verteporfin) in R eyen in 2001. Following proceduure a "flicker" (like a 60 cycle light appeared in both visual fields - made worse by light exposure, and helped a bit by covering the right eye.

My retinologist said, "It happens" but offers no help.

Has anyone heard of, or experienced this 'flickering?"
