Eyes: Laser correction for Retinal Tear - Post Op Limitiations

My husband had a laser correction of a small tear 2 days ago. He was giving ver limited discharge instructions. Nothing strenous like basketball, or horseback riding that might jar the eye, and no contacts for the first week I believe.
He is afraid to put eyedrops in because he wasn't specifically told to put them. Also he is worried about lifting causing stress on the eye. I didn't get that from his instructions but dont want to be wrong about that either. Since we have 2 30-35 lb todlers and no lifting is a bummer.
He also has a headache (which seems quite reasonable for the condition) and is pretty lethargic as if he is sick.
Questions in a nutshell.
Lifting - ok or not - how long after procedure
Eydrops - ok or not - how long after procedure
Should he feel sick after the procedure?
