Abdominal And Flank Pain

| . | Regarding my last post about the abdominal & flank pain, with my hemoglobin and carbon dioxide being elevated, I also have problems with my pulse pounding hard and sometimes rapid but I do not have high blood pressure. This is really weird too but when I have a sore on me that bleeds and wipe off the blood, the blood turns fast into what is very similar to dry fingernail polish. I have also developed severe ache problems in the past 3 1/2 months but never had much of a problem with it before. And these acne sores do not want to heal. Just wondering if the elevated blood work could be linked with my spleen having some kind of problem or with any of these problems I just listed? Would really apprieciate your opinion on this too. Thanks so much! |

Regarding the pulse pounding, you can consider an EKG or Holter/event monitor to evaluate for any arrhythmias. An echocardiogram can be considered to evaluate the structure of the heart.
Bleeding problems can be evaluated with various types of blood tests - including coagulation studies and bleeding times.
Regarding the muscle aches - there can be plenty of reasons that can lead to this. Doing blood tests looking for elevations in the muscle enzymes can be a reasonable start to evaluate this.
These options can be discussed with your personal physician.
Followup with your personal physician is essential.
