Can a missed miscarriage 14 years ago causes infertility now?

Hi.

I am 38 and have been TTC for about a year.  I have felt like I've had a possible chemical pregnancy a few times.  When my sister-in-law got pregnant recently, she told me about her linea negra - the line from the top to vagina to belly button.  I remember I had one of those 14 years ago but was living in Japan in a stressful situation.  I had also just lost 15 pounds so my body was off. At some time later I do remember having this horrible painful period, where lots of "stuff" came out...Could I have possibly had a miscarriage?? How far along could I have been to get a linea negra?  Can you get one for any other reason? And could that be affecting my fertility now?  I have had since them all normal pap smears, and HSG, that showed tubes clear but possible unexplained clumping near right ovary, and ultrasound.  I also terminated a pregnancy at age 19... I'll be seeing an RE soon, but the appt, is ways away.
What do you think?

Linea nigra is not in my thought pattern on this one, I would focus on working up if you are ovulating in a regular predicatable fashion. At 38, doing some ovarian reserve testing, FSH on cycle day 3. Don't like the sound of the abnormal HSG, may want to pusue this further. Can't see where the linea nigra story would take me in work up or future treatment options.
Hope this helps,
JM

Thanks so much.  I am have been overthinking everything.  My FSH level was a little high at 10.2 and my progesterone level just came back at 6.2, although it was taken at 4dpo at cd21 rather than 7dpo - which makes it a little inaccurate, correct?  Anyway, I always felt and looked young for my age (very healthy) but I think ovulation may be weaker than I thought.  Also, I DO want to purse the clumping thing - I sometimes have strange pain pressure from that area.  Thanks again - you've been a great help!
