Grey-sick of all this! IVF vs. IUI vs. Clomid

Hello, I am extremelly frustrated at this point of TTC. A year and some ago I had a miscarriage at 12 weeks, followed by a DNC and a chemical pregnancy. In March, i got discovered a fibroid in my uterus and was put on lupron to shrink it. In May i went under Lap and found no fibroid and some endo that the RE took care of.
Now, after all this time and my husband's good SA results, both have been checked for blood and chromosomal disorders and we are all clear, we still can't get pregnant!! IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!
I have not seen my period in forever!
I made an appointment for a follow up with RE and we are gonna discuss a 'plan B'.....which i have no clue what is it gonna be.
I have an insurance that covers 100% IVF but no IUI's. Also, i do not wanna be put on Clomid and have my hopes all up again only to see it fail month after month. I've had enough of that.
Should I suggest to my RE to go straight to IVF since IUI is not cheap (at Johns Hopkins) and it doesn't have as high rate success as IVF???? i think i can 'suck it up' and give myself shots if I know it is gonna work......, prefer that, than IUI cycles, or Clomid cycles that are probably not gonna work on me.

ARGH! (Lol) sorry about the venting and thank you for the answers! =)

I understand your frustration - the quick answer is....nothing wrong with going straight to IVF, especially if insurance covers, in my opinion.

Before going to IVF, if you do not want to deal with clomid again, you might want to speak with your REI about a drug called letrozole (ovulation induction is a non-approved use) or about injection fertility drugs with intercourse at home (if you do not have periods on your own).

All/any of the above options are reasonable.

....oh! forgot to mention: my RE also discovered that my one ovary is 'elongated'......which, i have no clue what does that mean in terms of fertility. Does it mean i have a 'retarded' ovary!??? lol.....he didn't mention PCOS or anything and said he 'wasn't too concearned about it'......huh! imagine that!

thank you! =)
