me and my partner want to have a baby but are concerned with a few issues.  my partner previously ( 7 yrs ago ) had a sperm count and found them to be low maybe due to an injury+operation indured as a child? also on ejaculation on occasion there is small amount which will appear after wards whilst going to the toilet.  my self i have started bleeding (last 4 cycles) around the time of ovulation and my last period was 6 days late and the one before was 5 days late. over the last 10 months my breast get really painfull a week before my period which i never had before and is slowly increasing.i have a child from a previous relationship aged 4 yrs but still have milk in fact i was producing milk 6 months before conceiving. do you have any insight or advice on my above query as would like to know the chances of conceiving.

Hi there. I would recommend seeing an infertility doctor. In order to get pregnant, you need three things - regular ovulation, normal anatomy, and enough sperm. Your story of irregular bleeding might be due to irregular or absent ovulation, and this can be determined with blood testing. Your partner had a low sperm count and may need to be retested. Also, an infertility doctor can do X-Ray tests to determine if your fallopian tubes are open.

Bleeding during ovulation could be a sign of endometriosis, which can also cause fertility problems.
