bilirubin

by abdul hameed abdul wahhab, Apr 09, 2000 12:00AM
I am a male age 57 years from maldives.  I have cholecystectomy in january 1998.

Since then I keep a check in my liver profile almost monthly.  My bilirubin total is elavated 1.2 mg/dl to 2.5mg/dl.

Please let me know if my liver functions is deterioriating based on these values.  Could there be danger in rising this level and the treatment I should take in the above mentioned circumstances.

many regards

mr. abdul hameed abdul wahhab
