Treatment question.

by keni, Jun 08, 2000 12:00AM
I have gotten my biospy and the nurse said I am have chronic active and mild. Please explain. What is a proper diet. My thought process regarding treatment is this, I have had hep c for 25 years and I drank and smoked. I no longer drink or smoke. I feel if my condition is mild now that with better habits I will not be affected as much as I would have if I had continued the bad habits. Now my point is to not take any medication to remove the hep c and just get biospies every five years or so. Do you think I can wait this thing out either until they find a cure or I die of something else?
