bilirubin

by vinyardmom, Sep 27, 2001 12:00AM
My son is treated with a mood stabilizer- Carbatrol.  Aplastic anemia is a side affect     if a person is very unlucky.

His last liver study showed very low direct and indirect bilirubin readings but normal total bilirubin.  Is this cause for alarm?   I understand what direct and indiect bilirubin is. But just what does this mean in respect to the liver and aplastic anemia?
