3 year old scratched on nose

My sister died 2 months ago from hep. C. Do not know if boyfriend is positive or not. Boyfriend scratched my 3 year old son's nose playing sunday. Can my baby have hep C? He was scratched by a fingernail. So there was no blood/blood contact.This has me terrified. I need some reassurance I guess, I have read everything and anything since my sister found out she was ill with it 2 months ago.
