update to vision problems

Hi everyone! Just wanted to post about a new vision problem I am now having and want to know if anyone else has had this problem. (GIPA, I hope to hear from you) I went for my eye appt on Monday and the doctor found that the optical nerve in my left eye is elevated. He calls is papilledema. It is caused by "something" behind my eye pressing my optic nerve forward. Its the "something" that he is worried about. I was scheduled for a visual field test yesterday, which is normal, however, they still want me to see a neurologist and have an MRI done. Of course, they say, don't worry. Easy to say, hard to do....Any comments are appreciated. Terri (justamom)
