can Interferon be used to treat hepatoma ?

I believe interferon is being marketd in a couple of Asian countries for hepatoma treatment. Has any clinical research been done on interferon for this type of cancer and what's the efficacy ? Are there any informational web sites that provide information on hepatoma treatment with interferon ?
