Anyone been unmonitored while taking Alpha Interferon

Can anyone help, My partner has Hepatitis C and was unmonitored for 15 months, since stopping the treatment he has had a vast range of particularly disturbing side effects, only last week he was admitted to hospital and has been diagnosed with Vasculitis on the lower legs (not a pretty sight). He had none of these symptons before commencing treatment, now he has been diagnosed with being substantially depressed, diminishing eyesight(4pairs of glasses within 4years, CNS damage, Heart problems, god the list goes on. Is anyone out there experiencing similar problems, we would love to hear from you. Thanks for reading this, any help will do, as the Medical profession here in Scotland seem to have put the blinkers on (trying to bury their heads in the sand like Ostriches). My partner suffers daily and please anyone out there who is on Alpha Interferon, please, please make sure you receive monthly blood checks. Thanks
