ANTIDEPRESSANT MEDICINE

by nicmat, Jun 05, 2002 12:00AM
i am affected of hepatitis B & C.I am also suffering of cronic depression since 1968 & recovered twice (45 days each time). In hospital I was undergone elestric shochs.I have been treated with vallium,Xanax, prozec,& since 1999 with serzone 150mg.(two pills at bed time)together with one clonazapem .05mg to control my anxiety & when necessary one ambien 5mg.For four years up to last march, the sgot and the sgpt were in the range of 125/185.Both satisfactory to either the liver specialist e pysichiatrist. However in later march the psychiatrist informed me she was allerted that the serzone was causing more harm to the liver than previousily estimated. She prescribed a blood test to see if the range of sgot & sgpt had  moved. It seems they were ok.However she prescribed one zoloft 50mg. to take in morning. The test done a month later showed an increase of 50%.  It's well known that all of them affect the liver!!!,but the law of relativity teaches that in every thing exist:an HIGH,a MEDIUM & a LOW; so of all the antidepressant medicine which one has the  low percentage of probability? Thanks for reading me.I hope yuo have an answer.  NICMAT
