1st Peg-Intron Injection... how much fever is too much?

by Teres, May 31, 2003 12:00AM
Took my first injection last night, but didn't premedicate with Tylenol (never liked Tylenol and it's bad for the liver). This morning, I awoke with fever which has now fluctuated around 102. My instructions were to call the doctor's office if my temperature went higher than 101.5 and I did so. I was told to take the Tylenol (and that I should have taken it the night before)... so I took the Tylenol and am waiting for my fever to subside.

Question: How much fever is too much? Any links to websites would be most helpful.

Thanks.
