Tarzen I'm sorry to hear about your misfortunes, but this is a HCV forum. In addition, we're only limited to 6 Questions per day. You have already managed to use 2.

Can you pls show a little more consideration for other members or newbies.

Thank you,

Ben

if youi find yourself with more questions, hep c related, and you are not able to find the answer on a web search, you can use the existing threads to tag them on. we are limited to 6-8 quuestons daily. your question on hcv might not have any answers, since this virus is not as researched as hiv. Try doing web searches on your general questions, it is time consuming, but might yield scientific answers.

As for your memory loss, speak with your physician. we are not doctors here, and you need to get tested to rule out serious conditions.

Hi. I am a "newby" and also didn't know the rules of how many questions. Sorry. I thought the advice to memory loss was cold.

Not sure if this is a symptom of HCV, but the "rules" could have been stated nicer. This poor person is scared-I understand that there maybe somewhere else to send this person for answers, but I think we could all be a little more sensitive.  It isn't easy to find the right place to talk.

Thanks

hi tarzen,

in medical research, depression and stress have been proved "burning" the chemical binds that work in memory processes. can that be your case, maybe ?

if I were you, I would start talking to my doctor and maybe later a neurologist, who can certainly do a deeper inquiry. there can be many possible reasons for the phenomena you are describing, and only a specialist can untangle them one by one, in case the most common factors are not responsible of your problems.

as you describe your situation, stress seems to be a very possible reason though. as you probably know, when one doesn't feel at ease at work etc, feeling inadequate can be easy and this may trigger a circular process where you feel worse etc...

take care - and try to take it easy.

I don't know how to do it, but what if someone would suggest the forum staff to write it down, together with the rule "please click the button once"?  it could avoid some of these incidents.

(ciao kid, hope everything well.)

I'm with Nwlywed.  That shouldn't be the first thing out of someone's mouth.  Compassion first.  It wouldn't be the first time we haven't been able to post a question.  That's just bad and wrong.

I am not clear if you are on tx or not. I take you have HCV. You should definalty speak to your doc on this right away. If you are on tx have should have your thyroid TSH checked. I had all those symptoms when my TSH was very high. If you have another question or comment just add it onto an existing thread and type "new question" and people will check it out then this doesn't use a new thread up with each question. I hope you stick around. Do you have HCV and are you on tx? LL

I've been coming here for over 2 years now. I don't post much because I don't fit into the click so to speak. But I don't see anywhere that it states this is a Hepatitis C forum just Hepatitis which would mean A-d ect, Alcholic Hepatitis, NASH can cause Hepatitis and anything causing Hepat (liver) itis (inflamation). It's pretty easy to hit the post button twice if you have a slow connection or the site is running slow.

Are you taking any type of medications or Illicit drugs? Many drugs can cause the exact symptoms that you exhibit.

I would recommend that you seek medical attention immediately

I can agree with your feelings about fitting into the click.

I have been coming to this forum since the mid 2000. I only recently felt comfortable enough to get more involved.

Many of the people here made me feel welcome and comfortable making it easier to voice my knowledge and opinions.

Memory loss is a sign of encephalapathy.  If you have extreme liver damage from any source, you can develope encephalapathy.  And if you do have encephalapathy you have a life threatening condition and you need medical intervention.  If you don't, you need immediate physchological intervention to find out why you need attention.

And the rest of you lighten up already.  Its Friday. you're still alive and obviously still kickin'!  There's sports and junk on tv and Christmas cataloges stackin' up.  Just chill. It will all be over soon.  one way or another
