Am I all right?

by XiaXia, Mar 12, 2005 12:00AM
i live in Canada I have been diagnosed as chronic HbV since 1995.Since that time I am still tested HbsAg positive My tests results were as following

1995    HBsAg          positive    131S/N

        anti-HBc       positive

        Anti-HBs       negative

        HBeAg          negative

        anti-Hbe       positive

2004    Everything remain the same except the

        HBsAg          positive     24.09 S/N

What are these 2 results means?

Is my HBV condition getting better now?

My doctor said that HBsAg < 2.0 S/N is considered HBV negative. If my future results fall below 2.0 S/N , does it mean I am free of HBV?

Did you ask this quesion of your doctor? He would be the best person to ask.

Most here in this forum are afflicteed with HCV, and there are no physicians monitoring the questions.
