Sometimes When We Touch

You ask me if I hate Hep
I’ll tell you honestly
I'll beat this damned old virus
Before it can beat me
And who am I to stand up
Spit in the dragon’s eye
I'm just a simple Hepper
Who won’t lie down and die
And sometimes when we Tx
The sides seem way too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna see that dragon die
Sometimes I just can’t help but cry
But, I’ll hang on till this fear in me subsides
My Gastro and his strategy
Helps me battle for my life
But through the months of Tx, now
I’m worn down by the strife
I'm just another fighter
Though I’m punch drunk half the time
A battle worn Hep fighter
Who thinks quitting is a crime
And sometimes when we Tx
The sides seem way too much
And I have to close my eyes and hide
I wanna see that dragon die
Sometimes I just can’t help but cry
But, I’ll hang on till this fear in me subsides
At times I'd like to give up
As I’m beaten to my knees
At times I'd like to run away
And hide amongst the trees
My friends I understand you
And I know how hard you've tried
I've seen the strength within you
And it fills me with great pride
And I love to hear of victories
That another dragon fell
It gives me back some energy
To really give them Hell…
