fibroids and pregnancy

by timework, Jul 06, 2003 12:00AM
My husband and I are anxious to strat trying to get pregnant again after losing our son at birth in December.  During my last pregnancy I was diagnosed w/ a fibroid about the size of a crazy ball in my uterus.  Since Dec. my periods have been very regular except for this past month.  We did start trying to get preg in June and my period didn't come at the end of the month.  I'm about a week late right now and have taken 2 p-tests w/ negative results. Could this fibroid be causing problems?  I had cramps but nothing else.  Should I take another p-test in a couple days? Any advice?
