Clomid w/o period

Has anyone taken Clomid without having a period first? I'm having a hard time inducing a period, and I figured if I take Clomid and it works, I should ovulate and therefore have a period after that(if not pregnant). I'm not pregnant now, and I just finished a 2nd round of Provera which didn't work.( 1 in June failed also)

Hi i wasnt having any periods and the docotr told me i had to have a period to take clomid so he gave me a course of hormone tablets the name is something like northisterone this cause a period and i was able to start the clomid. Talk to ur doc about this tablet.

Are you guys sure that Provera= Ovulation? I am not sure and I would like to know have you guys asked a MD?I am starting Clomid in the later part of this montha nd have been on Provera 10 mg for the past 2 cycles it takes 2 days for me to start once I finish 10 of them. Please let me know if you know any info? Thanks and GOOD LUCK!!!:)
