| . | Hi. I am 6 wks pregnant. Initial beta at 15 dpo was 50. We had a slow start on hcg rising and now my hcg is tripling and is dpo 21 1450. Due for another hcg tommorrow. Just curious because now I am potentially in twin hcg range. Do twin pregnancies start as low as 50 hcg and rise? What if there was late implatation? Thanks.

| . | Everyone's HCG levels are not going to be the same. i don't think that what your first HCG test showed will tell whether or not you are having twins. The fact that your levels are tripling instead of the common doubling is a good sign!!! =) When I was 5 weeks pg, an ER Dr told me that my levels showed a 10 week pg. when I talked with my OB two days later she said that everyone's levels are different. So we don't know what that ER Dr. was talking about, because in fact i was only 5 weeks along. So good luck and let us know about the baby/babies! =) |
