| micheleB 4/26/2004 | . | I didn't see one started yet, so I thought I would do the honours. I don't normally log on on the weekends, so I have some feedback for Blondie72 from Saturday. No, I haven't felt movement yet either, and I'm 19.5 weeks. I've read that it can be anywhere between 18 and 22 weeks. They say if it's not your first pregnancy you may feel it sooner. I'm not too concerned yet, as at my 16 wk appt, the midwife had to push real hard to find the top of my uterus, and made a comment about me having very strong ab muscles (I work out approx. 4 times a week), so I think it may be awhile for me to feel external movement. Although I would like to feel it internally. As for weight gain, at 16 weeks, I was only up 2lbs, I have another appt tomorrow, so we'll see where I'm at then (I also have an ultrasound to see if we can sneak a peak at the gender : ) My family doctor mentioned that I should watch my carbohydrate intake later in the pregnancy, as that tends to bulk up the baby. Food for thought. Hope everyone had a good weekend. |

That could be why my daughter was almost 9 lbs. I should try and lay off in the 3rd trimester. | capermom 4/26/2004 C2 | . | Hey everyone. Michelle, I noticed nobody posted here. It kind of looks like one instead of two open forums. Glad there's lots though. Good luck at you appointment, I'm sure you will feel the little buger kicking soon enough. Well, I had a doctor's appointment today. It went well. My pressure is good, a little low. I weight 164, my normal weight is about 145-150. Gained already, she said this is ok you are pregnant and giggled. She is so sweat. She says, "Lets take a look at the belly."" I find her so funny. She showed me where I had a little bulge. She asks what I am concerned about and makes sure I am satisfied when I am leaving. She said we will look for a heartbeat when I come in in 4 weeks and if she can't hear it I will be gong for an u/s. I have one May 18th that my other doctor booked anyway. I'm keeping that one, can't wait. She was very pleased that my bb's are sore and I am nacious quite often. She said good, good, I like when my pregnant patients are sick and have sore bb's, it's a good sign. She's giggling as she says it. I am sooooo pleased with her. I think she will be great during delivery too. Her husband is a doctor too in the nionatle ward. (can't spell) Well, that's all my news. What is new with everyone else? Is Christie back yet????? |

Things sound like they are going well, you are getting more and more symptoms and have found a dr you trust and who listens to you. I hope your dreams have subsided with all this positive that has come to you!! :) Do you want a girl? (Yeah I know I know...healthy baby blah blah-we all want healhty, but come on don't you kind of want one or the other?) LOL |
| capermom 4/26/2004 C5 | Christie ยง Kassimom | Hey Christie, welcome back!! How was your vacation? What fun things did you do? Yes, I just love my doctor, she is so sweet. She's from another country I know that much because of her strong accent but I'm not sure where from. She's very thorough and thoughtful too. I am so glad I finally made the move. She wasn't taking new patients but would take referrels for prenatal. I called her office on my own and explained my situation with my other doctor whom I wasn't satisfied with and she decided to take me. She had me in for an u/s the next day and I got to see and hear the heartbeat. I was soooo relieved. I'm back to being scared to death again but I am getting really sick and tired and sore bb's too and I didn't have this before, not even with the two boys. So I'm hoping this is a really good sign. Kassimom, yes, of course I would love to have a girl but a heathy boy would make me just as happy. I am the only female in this house, another would help!!! Do I remember you telling me that your m/s comes on and off? What about the tiredness and the sore bb's? Is it all the time or off and on? How are you feeling now anyway? I see you had a great u/s and your DH got to be there. that's wonderful. You are 9 weeks, measuring at 10??? Forgetting again, what is your due date. She gave me a date of Dec 6th today.I can't wait for DH to see this one, he's never seen it before. Praying everything is going well!!! |
| Kassimom 4/26/2004 C6 | capermom | My m/s or "all day but mostly at night sickness" was on and off and the last few days hasn't reared it's ugly head again! So hopefully I am getting past that. As for the bb's. THEY ARE SO SORE all the time! My dd climbed in bed this morning and leaned against me and I thought I was going to DIE!!! LOL My EDD is 11/26...but the computer put my EDD at 11/21 based on baby's size!!! WOO HOO!! EDD is on DH's b-day according the the u/s machine! Technology is your friend!!:) |

There's something about actually SEEING it in writing that makes it even more exciting. My sister, 2 of my cousins, and a very good friend of mine all found out that they're pregnant over the weekend. I'll be due Oct. 1st, and they'll all be due end of Dec./1st of Jan. There must be something in the water here in Dallas I guess! LOL Good luck, and please let us know how your dr. visit goes. |

The one's you got the + on could have been stronger then the ones you got the - on, also, there is a chance that you had a really early m/c. Very hard to tell at this point. I would test again so you will know for sure! Good luck. |
| Angel4JohnnyB 4/27/2004 C14 | Jazzygyrl | Hi, You could very well be pregnant........ My advice is to go and see your doctor to find out forsure. You need to make sure and tell him that you did have two hpt come up postiive that way if the one in the office comes up negative he/she will do blood work. Is your period late???? You sound kinda stressed about the chance of being pregnant.....are you trying????? If you aren't then you need to find an alternate birthcontrol method, other than condoms, since you/he don't seem to be using them. Best of luck, let us know what you find out.
