| . | Happy Wednesday Ladies!!!!!!!!
Chloe.......Good Luck......I hope everything is going smoothly.......who knows you may already be holding that little man.....I missed a few days so didn't get to read up until today.
hther.......I'm ttc as well......you are not alone!!!! My ds is 4 months and we would really like to have them close in age. Best of luck!!!
Kassimom.......As for the swing......your choice of course....Talon (I) can't live without his aquaruim swing. A baby does not miss what they never had. So if you don't introduce the child to the swing they will never know about it.......When my older son was born the nursing staff had him just swinging in a swing at the hospital.....he was the only baby there so they just kept him at the nurses station and spoiled him rotten.......I came walking down the hall to get him and there he was......blocking everyones path by the way.......swinging away.......I just stared.......the nurse asked me if I had a swing at home.......I told her "lucky for you I do, if I didn't I'd be taking this one with me"......LOL
On to the highchair.........I have the Cozy Fit by Fisher Price........and I really like it......it has 3 height adjustments and 4 reclining positions......plus it curves on each side to keep their head in place.
MicheleBr.......I am so sorry Liam, you and your family have to go through this. My prayers are with you. Please keep us posted.
Nathanielsmommy........If you are still around.......my son had to go to the eye doc as well for the same reason........my pedi saw that his eyes were sort of turning.... |

| . | sorry, ran out of room..............
and when the eye doc saw him about 2 months later his eyes were fine..........babys develop at different rates so who's to say their body has to develop on some schedule just because the doc thinks it should...........2 months made a world of difference for the muscles in my ds eyes.
Everyone...........thanks for the advice on the baby toys......very helpful!!!! |

| Angel4 ยง I need input for Santa!! :) |
Angel4-Good point about not missing what they don't have. I guess if someone wants to get me the swing great, if not then we always have the bouncy and my front carrier to put him in. We do have the swing that my neighbor let me borrow. It's upstairs though so if he gets the chance to use it, it will be after I am cleared for climbing those stairs!
Okay all I need ideas for Santa. Actually I just need input on one thing. My DD is 6. When I ask her what she wants for Christmas, she says human body books, "true" books, a Bratz doll, normal girlie stuff etc. But she hasn't mentioned a big gift yet and every year Santa leaves her something unwrapped. A bigger gift that is. Well, this year I was thinking of a play kitchen. My Dh thinks she is too old for a play kitchen and won't play with it. I think she will play with it if we stock it with play food and dishes! What do you think? Would you think a 6 yr old is too old for a play kitchen? |

I have a little sister who will be 6 in November and DD will be 5 in December. They love to play with the play kitchen we have. Especailly when they are together. They make dinner for their babies and have loads of fun. If you think DD would enjoy it I would get it. Maybe try taking her to like toys are us and show her a few and she if she likes them, if not then I am sure she will spot something she must have. |

I'm having the same issue! Kenny loves the Bratz stuff, but has asked for mothing BIG! She is majorly into clothes and shoes and stuff like that, and I can tell you just from her that she would not play with a kitchen. Kassi may be different. Kenny will play with babies and things like that, sometimes, but I don't think it would hurt her feelings if she didn't have any.
This Christmas is definitley going to be hard with her. Let me know if you come across something good! |

Sounds like your little one is like mine. I am thinking of buying her a vanity with lots of dress up stuff. I think she will love it. We also may make a corner in her toy room all mirrors so she can put on her own fashion shows. |

| . | LOL tres-Kasi has a dress up corner in her room and LOVES it! She is ALWAYS dressing up and putting on "make-up" in her mirror!
Kassi plays with dolls ALOT too. BUt she also plays just as much with Barbie and some with Polly Pocket's. Right now her big thing is wrting. She writes on any paper she can get her hands on. She has a desk already so that's out for a gift idea!
I think I will go ahead and get her the kitchen. I think that as long as Colton is in his swing next to where I plan to put it, she will have a great time "cooking" him meals! And then once he is walking, it will be a great toy for them to share!

Since your daoughter likes writing so much have you thought about an easel. Toys R Us has a two sided easel for painting and a chalkboard and it comes with alot of arts and paper and it really is neat. |

i agree with the easel....i know they make ones that have chalk on one side and dry earase on the other with clips to hold paper.
sorry this is off the subject but......i just heard on the radio about a school that accidentally served their students margarita's for lunch....they thought it was lime-aid...that is hillarious. of course i wouldn't think it was if it were my child but you know.
anyway- i'm going to scan the rest of the comments and then go write my paper for english.

That IS hilarious!! OMG too funny!
My question would be, how did Margarita's get IN the school?
Even if it were my DD, I would proably still laugh it off. It's not like they did it on purpose, it wouldn't likely happen again, and there wouldn't be any lasting damage from ONE margarita at lunch! (Or I would be in a sad state of affairs MYSELF! LMAO)
Hey there's an idea! Maybe some of the TEACHERS should get a margarita at lunch!! LOL :) |

apparently they had had an adult party for one of the teachers at the school over the weekend....i guess they forgot to take it with them when they left.
needless to say the school board has ruled NO MORE adult parties at the school.
i just wonder how many kids were servered before they got to the one that realized the juice tasted funny and wanted to know why?
