Someone just posted a good story about low fetal heart rate.  I think it was jennyleightay and I can't find her 1st post from her 6 week u/s.  But look in the 11/8 she posted results from her 8 weeks u/s.  I hope everything works out for you, Good Luck.

Hi, I just had a vaginal us.  I thought I was 7 weeks, but only measured 6 weeks.  We saw a heartbeat via the US, but the machine could not register it/count it.  do you think it is just too early, or is the heartbeat too weak??  Any comment will help.  I'm not to have another US until 10 days, I'm going nuts!

Hi...yes, it was me who was very concerned about the heart rate at my first ultrasound.  I was just under 6 wks and it was only 78, and then at just under 7 weeks it was 112.  My doctor made me feel like this was very bad, and I was terrified that I would miscarry.  But at the 8 week u/s, the heart was up to 155 and my doctor said everything looked great and he was sorry for worrying me!  What a relief!  So I wouldn't worry too much yet, it is still early...when is your next u/s?
