Thanks in advance. This is such a great forum. Everyone has already been so kind. I just wish I could help others but I just don't have the answers you guys have yet.
I agree with Caper.....you should not be checking. There is a reason that a OB will only check you when they do the inital papPap smear Pap smears and cervical cancer and then not again until you are past week 36.......
Have you been to the doctor yet?
Some women don't have symptoms at all, maybe you are just one of the lucky ones.
If you haven't been to the doc I would make an appt. and I would also let him know what you've felt. But again, I would stop checking.
If it were openish as you describe, imagine what you could be introducing in terms of bacteria. If you are concerned that you do not have symptoms, let your doctor know and maybe they can accomodate you with a u/s or something.
How ironic that you would be wondering the same thing. hopefully it's normal... I can't lose this babyBabies and heat rashes Baby feeding patterns... i'm gettin too attached already!!!! momttc

Oh and checking your cervix with clean hands isn't introducing anything more than a penis would during sex? aFter all that is the organ the man uses to urinate....
