Good Morning ladies.  Thought I would get this started.  I took the advice of most all of you on my teeting post and got the Hyland teething tablets.  Now how do I use them??  Are they safe for a 4 month old and do I follow the directions and give 2 or 3 tablets under the tounge or will one work for this age.  It also says on the bottle to ask a dr if pg or nursing.  I am nursing but why would it say that if it is a teething med.  Thanks again for your help.

Awfully quiet around here today!

Just checking in...I have my second "every two week" check up today.  I am 35weeks and 1day today.  I'm really anxious about this check.  He will be doing the first internal exam since the first visit.

Baby's doing well as far as I can tell but I really think she is trying to plan her escape route.

I'm going to talk to the doctor today about going ahead and scheduling an induction.  Not sure how this will go over with him but I'm gonna try anyhow.

Anybody find it hard to explain to an older sibling that we can't just tell WHEN the baby is going to come.  I think he's finally figured it out (he's 5) but somedays i'm not so sure.

Hope everyone is doing well...

It's been awefully quiet alot lately. I haven't been posting all that much because I have been kinda down about all this stupid stuff going on and nobody giving me any answers. Hopefully Friday when I call the doctor I will get some kind of info.

I hope everyone is doing well.

they have Q&A about the tablets. Camryn will be 5 months on the 25th, and I give him 2 tablets. I hold them on his tongue until they dissolve. He hasnt any problems with them, and seems like he feels much better afterwards. HTH.

what is HTH? I feel horrible today. We ordered pizza last night from a well known pizza place and all got food poisoning :(

Wait a minute I think i figured it out on my own :)

HTH= hope this helps right?

Yes you are right.  Hope this helps is what it stands for.  Sorry you got sick.  I always worry any time we go out that that may happen.  So far we have been lucky (knock on wood).  I gave my baby 2 tablets and he nursed and slept for a few minutes and has not been too fussy.  I may try another dose here shortly.  Thanks again for suggesting these.  Take Care.

Ok so I'm back from my OB appt.

I am 1cm dialated, 50% effaced and she is at a 2- station

Now I know what all of those things mean (clinically) but what do they mean (practically)...In other words am I going to stay at this progression for the next 5 weeks or can I expect to go a little early or what?  I am 35 weeks and some change (as my OB puts it)

Thanks for any input...

I just pop them in Tristan's mouth and they dissolve quickly. I have been using them since he was 3 months old with no issues.
